How does Split a Charter work?
1 - Browse Available Charters
Start by browsing existing charter requests to see if there’s a trip that already fits your schedule. Some charters may already have one group booked, so joining them allows the trip to be confirmed more quickly.
2. Submit a Charter Request
If you don’t see a trip that works for you, submit a charter request with your preferred activity, date, location, and group size.
3. Your Trip Gets Listed
Once your request is submitted, it will be posted on the site as a potential charter that others can join. We will also use our other resources to find a second group.
When two groups request the same type of trip on the selected date, the charter can move forward.
We’ll provide a link to confirm the trip with a $50 reservation fee per group. Once both parties pay the fee we’ll send both groups the captain’s contact information.
(Even with the reservation fee, average savings is $450)
4. We Match Two Groups and Confirm the Charter
On the day of the trip, meet your captain at the marina and head out on the water together.
Each group pays the captain directly for their portion of the charter. From there, everything works just like a private charter you’re simply sharing the boat with another group and splitting the cost.
5. Enjoy the Trip
