Reef Fishing

Marathon, Florida

March 27 - March 31 , 2026

About

This 6-hour fishing trip in the Florida Keys offers a flexible day on the water targeting a variety of local species. Depending on weather and conditions, the captain may fish ocean side reefs and wrecks, work around bridges, or head into the calmer waters of the Gulf.

The goal of the trip is to stay on the fish. With several hours on the water, the captain has the flexibility to move between locations and try different techniques if conditions change or the group wants to target different species.

One group has already booked this trip and is looking for another group of up to 3 to join them and split the charter cost.

Trip Details

This trip lasts approximately six hours, giving anglers plenty of time to explore multiple fishing areas and adjust to conditions if needed.

The boat can accommodate up to six passengers total, and the current group is looking for another group of 3 to share the trip.

The charter includes a licensed captain, fishing licenses, rods, reels, bait, and tackle. The captain will provide the gear and guidance needed for anglers of all experience levels.

Guests should bring any food, drinks, sunscreen, and personal items they’d like for the day on the water.

Price

Total Charter Price: $1,050
Cost Per Group: $525 + $50 reservation fee

The charter is split between two groups, with each group paying half of the total trip price.

Once a second group joins, SplitACharter collects a $50 reservation fee per group to confirm the match. This fee is separate from the charter cost.

Each group will pay their share of the charter price directly to the captain on the day of the trip.

Trip Status

Trip Status: 1 of 2 groups booked
Seats Available: 3 remaining

One group has already secured their half of the trip and is looking for another couple to join them.

Once the second group joins, the charter will be confirmed and both groups will receive the captain’s contact information to coordinate the final details.

How This Split Charter Works

  1. One group has already booked the trip and wants to split the charter.

  2. When another group joins, the charter is fully matched.

  3. Each group confirms their spot with the $50 reservation fee.

  4. Both groups receive the captain’s contact information.

  5. On the day of the trip, both groups meet the captain and pay their share of the charter.

Reservation Fee

To confirm the matched charter, each group pays a $50 reservation fee through SplitACharter.

This helps ensure both groups are committed before the captain schedules the trip.

The remaining charter cost is paid directly to the captain and is separate from the reservation fee.
